September 2013

As Eli approached two, you could tell he started struggling being the middle man. I decided to get him out of the house for some special one on one attention. I couldn't ask for a better date.

Eli also started preschool this past fall. I'm not sure if they were ready for Eli's energy, but he survived the semester. :)

Zachary had his first season of soccer. He did NOT like it. He specifically did not like all the people cheering. He did not finish the season. Maybe we'll try again soon.
Here are some more pictures from our September.

Syd's Birthday

I'm not sure how it has happened so quickly, but Sydney turned 11 this past August. It is incredible the young woman she is growing into. She is the most loving sister and daughter anyone can ask for. She's incredibly thoughtful, creative, talented, hard working, and smart. We are SO grateful for her! We love you, Sydney Carlene!

Nora Growing

My precious baby girl is one now, but I am SO grateful for the monthly pictures we took of her growing.

From my journal when she turned three months.

"At three months, she is smiling more and more every day. She is beginning to reach for things. She slept all night for the first time this week. She rarely cries unless she is tired or hungry. She never spits up. She is absolutely wonderful! We love you, baby girl!"

From my journal when Nora turned four months.

"Our Sweet Nora is getting ready to turn four months. Right now, she is sleeping all night long (most of the time). She is enjoying learning to bounce in her exersaucer, and loves being held. She loves

watching tv and watching her wild brothers. She is giving little giggles. She is absolutely wonderful."

At five months... "My silly little baby girl is 5 Months Old. At 5 months, she is continuing to babble, and make spit bubbles. She likes to make goofy grins, like this one here. She sleeps from about 8:30-8:30, but still eats every three hours. Her mommy is procrastinating on the baby food as long as possible. She loves to snuggle and makes us absolutely melt. We love you, Baby Nora."

At six months, I didn't do much of an update. Here is my post from that. "There's not a day that goes by that I don't thank God for our sweet surprise! I'm so glad His plan was different than ours."

We most definitely still feel the same way.

Our Summer

For some reason, I really believed that I would be able to update this blog more frequently, but I should have known that with three kids, ages 3 and under, and running a business would make that a pipe dream. So, here goes. I'm going to try to speed through the last several months in several different blog posts, and then I will make a resolution to update this more frequently. It is also up there with my resolution to do a load of laundry each day, and to do at least 2-3 cleaning things around the house each day...

Sigh...

There are NO words to describe how much I cherish these summer days with my children.
