A Day With Syd

Zach was in Missouri this past weekend, spending some time with Sydney. He went to two of her games, and then took her and her best friend, Taylor, out for the day.

They had such a good time!

Date Night

Zach and I had our first night out this past week, since Eli's been born. I am so lucky to have this man as my husband!

It's pretty sad that I have to look back at my iphone pictures to figure out what's been going on in our lives. For the most part, once we got through the holidays and the traveling, we have been trying to get adjusted to life with two babies, and enjoying family time before I start working again this weekend. I have snapped a LOT of pictures over the last few weeks, so here are just a handful of some things that have ended up on my instagram account.

Eli: One Month

Some things to note about my sweet baby at one month:

-Eli LOVES being held... and if you try to sit him down, he lets you know it
-He is tracking REALLY well. He makes really good eye contact.
-He is a REALLY good, but REALLY loud eater. Nursing in public is quite funny (and at times a little embarrassing).
-He is sleeping pretty well. He wakes up once or twice in the middle of the night to eat, but then goes back to sleep pretty quickly. He started sleeping in his crib, in his room, ALONE on New Years Eve. That was Mommy's New Years Resolution.
-His eyes are still a little blue, but I think they're starting to turn brown.
-Seems pretty laid back so far.

Eli's First Bath

I have to say, I was actually pretty impressed. He seemed to actually like it, until he realized he was uncomfortable. Overall, I think this kid is going to make the bath time routine much easier than his brother.

Christmas Day

This was the first time we've ever opened gifts with Zachary where he seemed like he understood what was really going on. He turned one last February, so we haven't had the chance to open gifts with him again until now. It made Christmas morning so fun.
