A few
weeks before Zachary was born, Alabama won their first national
championship in almost 20 years. The next year, Auburn won. The next
year, I had Eli in December, and Alabama won again a few weeks later.
Well, after this surprise pregnancy, I told Zach "Well, at least we know
Alabama will win the championship again this year, because our babies
are only born during championship years."
And
sure enough... We are three for three on having championship babies.
The night of the big game against Notre Dame, we had friends over to
watch the game. It may be the third in four years, but we will always
remember it.
