Vacation Help

Zach and I are planning a 4 day getaway in November, before the baby comes. Fall is our FAVORITE time of year, so we're looking for something kind of cool, with mountains and maybe even the ocean. We're wanting something nice, just the two of us... but have no suggestions.

I suggested Missoula, MT- a small mountain town where I spent a summer in college. We are also looking at Cape Cod. Seriously, we need help. Anyone have any ideas???

We went to Maine one September and drove to the White Mountians of New Hampshire. They were so pretty, but November may be a little late for that far north.

TONS of gorgeous places up here in the Pacific Northwest that fit your description exactly. But it would suck for you to come all this way and not spend any/much time with us. So, go somewhere else, and come up here when you have time for both a visit and a vacation. :) Ok, I guess I can't tell you you to not come up here. You'd love it, Liz.

New England is really pretty! The foliage will be over with by then, but it's still nice! If you want mountains and ocean, go to Maine. Without water, VT or NH. Burlington VT is beautiful and has a huge lake! Or the White Mountains in NH! :)

Wakiki Beach in Oahu, Hawaii is really cool, close to Diamond head Mountain and the ocean is right there. The weather is great. All the people there are happy. No kidding it is the happiest place I have been to. There is so much to do there and it does not hurt to experience a little Polynesian culture.
