We got double the excitement during our visit with Syd on Saturday. When we arrived that morning, there were still inches of snow on the ground from the snowstorm earlier this week. We threw a couple of snowballs, but then headed inside. We ate lunch, and then spent a few hours at the bookstore. We read countless numbers of Berenstein Bears and Barbie books. The girl LOVES her books. We already miss her!! 
While at the bookstore, I stopped by to see if the Karen Kingsbury's newest book in the Sunrise Series was out (it wasn't). While I was standing in the aisle, I met a woman who swore to me that this book was one of the best she'd ever read. Needless to say, I'm pretty excited about it! Can't wait to get started!
